A fractional Amazon manager who owns the channel, not just the reporting
A fractional Amazon manager for brands doing $5M+: a senior operator who runs the channel week to week and answers for the number.
The Problem
You're past the point where someone can run Amazon on the side, and not yet at the point where a full-time Director of Amazon pencils out, because that role needs two more hires behind it before it's effective. So the channel sits with a marketing generalist, or with an agency that reports but doesn't decide, or with you at 11pm. We've run this role inside 100+ brands, and the pattern rarely changes: what gets dropped isn't the campaign work, it's the weekly judgment calls nobody owns.
How It Works
Take the channel
A full audit of catalog health, ad structure, keyword coverage and account health, then a written 90-day operating plan naming the decisions we intend to make and the order we'll make them in.
Set the cadence
A standing weekly operating call, a shared decision log, and one named senior operator accountable for the channel. Not a pod, not a rotating account manager.
Run the week
Bid and budget calls, listing and creative changes, inventory and replenishment flags, case escalation, competitive response. Made, not recommended.
Answer for the number
Monthly review against the plan, including what didn't work and what we changed because of it. Margin and contribution, not just ACOS and ROAS.
Build your bench
Documentation and training as we go, so the channel can be handed to an in-house hire when the volume finally justifies one. Some clients get there. That's a good outcome.
